Suit Against Creditor Nets $4,000.00
Using the knowledge gained at the Max Gardner Bankruptcy Boot Camp, Attorney Doherty was obtained a $4,000 settlement award from a creditor who had repeatedly contacted his bankruptcy clients by mail and by phone in violation of the Pennsylvania Fair Debt Collection Act and the United States Bankruptcy Code. As a result, the calls and letters to his clients have stopped and the clients have essentially paid nothing for filing the bankruptcy case - the costs having been covered by the offending creditor. The clients are thrilled, stating "What could be better than forcing your creditor to pay your costs for filing a bankruptcy that wiped out all of your debt - Thanks Steve."
